What is the best airport to fly into?
We recommend flying into Sacramento International Airport (SMF). It's about a 2-hour drive to Lake Tahoe and typically offers the best combination of flight options and pricing.
What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire — dress to impress. Keep in mind it will be chilly in Tahoe in November, so we recommend bringing a coat or wrap.
Can I take photos?
We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged — no photos or phones during this time. We'll have a photographer capturing everything. Additionally, we ask guests to refrain from posting on social media, as we'll have children in attendance and would like to be mindful of their privacy.
Will there be options for dietary restrictions?
Yes! Since we have a private dining experience, the restaurant can accommodate all dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.). Please note any restrictions in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes — parking is available at Edgewood Tahoe Resort. For guests not staying at the hotel, parking will be available under the Dell/Adelman wedding event.
Will it snow?
Snow is unlikely this time of year, but Tahoe weather can be unpredictable. Expect crisp, cool temperatures — especially in the evening.
How do I get around?
We'll be offering limited shuttle service for the day of the wedding. Outside of that, rideshare and driving are the easiest ways to get around.
Is everything indoors?
Yes — all wedding events will be indoors, but there may be short walks between spaces, so plan accordingly for the cold.
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving by Sunday to settle in and join us for the family dinner and welcome drinks.
What are some fun things to do in the area?
Lake Tahoe is beautiful year-round. A few favorites: gondola ride at Heavenly for incredible views, exploring Heavenly Village (shops, restaurants, coffee), and lakeside walks. Note: the golf course will be closed and ski resorts typically won't be open yet.
